Chuck & Molly Love Story!

1) The Beginning!

We met while working on a performing pirate ship in St Augustine! It took a few months for Molly to call Chuck by his real name instead of his pirate name, Jamison Flintlock. We became fast friends and began having lunch together every day, exchanging books we loved, and ending our long days of sword-fighting and wrenching with dancing downtown or night swims on the beach.
2) How did Chuck propose?

Chuck proposed with candles and a poem which he wrote himself!!

3) How was your experience with planning your wedding during a pandemic?

It was difficult for us to find a location. In the end we decided to have our COVID wedding, complete with family watching over Zoom, on our back porch! Our good friend and Captain from our pirating days officiated our vows. We plan to someday throw a big reception when it’s safe to gather all of our friends and family together again, but planning an intimate “minimony” worked out wonderfully for us.

4) Any advice for couples planning their wedding during uncertain times??!

Lower your party expectations and focus on making it a day to celebrate YOU! We made our beautiful floral moon backdrop, wrote personal vows, and Molly walked down the aisle (driveway) to a piano piece which Chuck composed.

I. Love. Us!
